High Ercall Primary School

I was the Deputy Headteacher at High Ercall, and since retiring in January 2022, I have remained as a Governor, and I support learning in classes across school from time to time. I taught at the school for over fifteen years, and during this time, I have seen the school flourish in the areas of curriculum offer, academic achievement and infrastructure. Before joining the school, I had taught in two larger primary schools in central Telford and had been an engineer before joining the teaching profession. I had never stayed longer than six years in any previous post and it is testament to the ethos and environment of the school that I am now retired, but remained as Governor.

 I enjoy cycling and motorcycling (passing my test in 2015) and have supported local and national ‘ride outs’ to raise funds for a variety of charities.
